Hello everyone! Be patient, this file is BIIIGGG.

I finally finished this wonderfully fun little meme! Enjoy reading about my very favorite Lyria and Spade! Forgive the skritchy sketchy paints, these were all done as rough speedpaints. Anatomy and lighting fell to the sidelines!

Both characters are copyright me and my boyfriend, respectively. Do not use, ect. ect. ect.

Here's a little artist's commentary on each question, in case there's any confusion!

1. Speaks for itself. An introduction!

2. Yeah, they're really shallow. But pretty!

3. Lyria's a performer. Before meeting Spade, she made her living singing at various sleazy taverns, so that's how they met.

4. Chicks dig pirates. Arg.

5. This actually WAS just a cheap excuse for me to paint them making out. They're so cute together! <3 *Squeal*

6. Spade likes poker, Lyria likes music... And picking at her Captain.

7. Spade loves his hair. He has pretty hair. So yeah, he doesn't want to get old and bald. Lyria just doesn't ever want to be alone on the streets again. She's enjoying the good life with her criminal.

8. I just couldn't imagine Spade being ANYTHING other than manly, so I found it too funny to paint him as an UGLY transvestite. He's not too happy. Lyria I just thought looked like one of those Final Fantasy girly boys.

9. They don't have TV. Lyria and Spade's world, the time period they live in is very comparable to our 1800s. So yeah, no TV.

10. Spade's a pirate, but he doesn't fit the pirate "stereotype". He doesn't go around saying "arrrghh" with a patch over his eye and and a parrot on his shoulder. He's a business man, suave, charismatic, wealthy.... And his business just so happens to be illegal. Lyria just sort of best fits that... Bar singer/tavern trash girl stereotype. (Neither of them are EASY to stereotype though, they're both very unique.)

11. It was fun! So yeah.

12. I got lazy, as you can see.
